The Confraternity of Christian Doctrine was an association established at Rome in 1562 for the purpose of providing religious education. Today CCD refers to a religious education program of the Catholic Church, normally designed for children.
Saints Peter and Paul’s CCD Program
It is our belief that parents are the primary catechists for their children. It is our goal to assist parents along this journey of faith by providing sacramental preparation, a faith-filled learning environment and opportunities to serve God and others. We hope to help parents nurture in their children a love for God and others and demonstrate to the children the richness and beauty of our faith.
Saints Peter and Paul Students who attend public school receive their Faith Formation through our parish CCD program which consists of class study and preparation for the reception of the sacraments. The goal of the parish CCD program is to enable and encourage the students to learn more about their faith.
