The Faculty and Staff of Saints Peter & Paul Catholic School believe…
We believe that a Catholic education is extremely important in providing a moral compass and empowering students to take ownership of their faith. As students mature and move into the next phase of their lives, high school, their religious conviction is essential to navigate the challenges they will encounter. Possessing a strong spiritual foundation, as fostered by our teachings, will be the key to their success. Upon graduating from Saints Peter & Paul our graduates will have a strong foundation in:
● Spirituality: The graduates from Saints Peter & Paul will be equipped with the tools to become strong Catholic leaders. As a result of every discipline being taught through a Catholic worldview, the students will leave the school instilled with Catholic virtues and strong in their convictions. Through our emphasis on charity and service, the students will continue to voluntarily participate in acts of service to both the community and the church.
● Morality: The graduates of Saints Peter & Paul are empowered to make meaningful contributions to their community as followers of Christ, as well as to continue their life-long journey of moral growth and fulfillment. They will share time, talent, resources and leadership with family, school, church and the local communities, exhibiting their sense of responsibility and commitment to Catholic doctrine.
● Academic Excellence: Students will be able to read, write, listen and speak effectively for a variety of purposes. They will be able to think analytically, critically and creatively and articulate their thoughts using the vocabulary and concepts learned through literature, languages, religious studies, natural and social sciences, mathematics, technology and physical education. Our graduates will have developed disciplined work habits and study skills. They will approach life with an active curiosity to remain a life-long learner.
The Catholic Schools of the Diocese are committed to excellence in its spiritual and academic goals. All instruction, all learning, and all activities are directed to the full development of the human person, for the welfare of an earthly society and the building of the Kingdom of God.
Middle States Accreditation:
An institution of higher education is a community dedicated to students, to the pursuit and dissemination of knowledge, to the study and clarification of values, and to the advancement of the society it serves. The Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE), through accreditation, mandates that its member institutions meet rigorous and comprehensive standards, which are addressed in the context of the mission of each institution and within the culture of ethical practices and institutional integrity expected of accredited institutions. In meeting the quality standards of MSCHE accreditation, institutions earn accredited status, and this permits them to state with confidence: “Our students are well-served; society is well-served.”
The Middle States Accreditation is an ongoing self-evaluation requiring the submission of updated plans every three years. After a ten year tenure, schools are re-evaluated for continued accreditation. Saints Peter & Paul School successfully achieved Middle States re-accreditation in May of 2021.
